For as long as I can remember, I have always had a fascination for speed...

Growing up I would drive anything I could get my hands on, motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles-you name it, if I could, I did. My interest for cars began when I became close to the legal driving age. This would begin the start of my career in the automotive field. However, turning wrenches only fueled my passion for cars and going fast. My first car was a Mustang, not fast enough, I had to buy and build a Camaro, which became my first pride and joy. In 2003 thanks to a fellow co-worker and good friend, Wayne Stevens, I would begin my introduction into competitive motorsports. Starting first in Waterloo Regional Kart Club’s Senior Lite 4 Stroke division, I learned the basics of car control and race procedures.

In 2004, thanks to Gilles and Matt Bedard, I was able to pitcrew on their #10 Chevy Coupe running in the Canadian Vintage Modified Series. Gilles and Matt gave me the opportunity to run the annual “Mechanics Race” which got me behind the wheel of a real race car for the first time. Next step was purchasing the #2 1931 Chevy Coupe from Larry and T.J. Woolsey in plans to run the 2005 Canadian Vintage Modified Series. Running the complete series that year, our team achieved “Best 1st Year Driver” and finishing 5th in the Overall Lucas Oil Championship standings. With thanks to my sponsors, I have been able to continue this dream and compete in the series again in 2006 and now in 2007. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and mentored me along the way.

We will continue to work towards our goal….
The Canadian Vintage Modified Championship!
